Saw this and thought I'd spread it a bit too.

My brother name is Joseph Tan Chun Hiong .2.5.2007 was my brother's off day,he decided to go clubbing with a friend (M) that night .My mother tried to stop him as it was rather late in the night .Joseph convinced my mother he will be home at about 2am.Just before he left home he showed my mother he have 5 $50 note ,he told my mother he will use it slowly to last till month ends.

Joseph and (M) arrived at mohd sultan at about 1130pm.(M) wants to go O BAR but Joseph wants to go DBLO to look for some friends.(M) saw Joseph paid for the $25 entrance fee with a $50 .At about 12midnight Joseph called my other brother Alan and some other friends to join him at the pub but none went .He sounded normal and well over the phone .At about 1.45am on 3.5.2007 (M) after my brother failed to return his sms went to look for him .Unable to find him ,he ask some staff if they have seen Joseph.

According to (M) they replied they didn't see Joseph but someone told him a very fat man is sent to hospital.(M) didn't suspect anything so he went home .He did notice some strangers were sitting at Joseph regular table.(M) called my brother Alan at 10am 3.5.2007 when Joseph still didn't answer his phone .Alan didn't see Joseph in his room so he ask my mother .Because Joseph will leave the house by 8am for work everyday,she didn't suspect he never came home.

At 9pm 3.5.2007 I received a called from the police that Joseph is in SGH ICU .When I finally see him,he had brain surgery done to remove very large blood clots .The surgeon said there was massive bleeding in his brain and a lot brain is damaged .His chances of survival is slim,he passed away 4 days later .The Dr said his injuries maybe cause by a very blunt object hitting on the head but there was no other injuries on him.

The next day when we went to collect his belongings a belt,a pkt of cigarettes with lighter and a wallet with his cards and some receipts .His newly brought nokia 5300 white and red hand phone is missing and there is only $3.10 .I was told the wallet was found in his pocket .Among the receipt there was 1 that show he paid $24 for 4 drinks at 1145pm sitting at table 4.The police told me these informations are circumstantial and will only be classified as lost items and not thieft.(means they will not investigate).Its painful thinking this person or persons had left my brother to die as they took his things.

The police have seen the security video of the building .It show Joseph walking alone outside the pub and collapsed alone .This also telly with eye witness account(only the statement of the security guard is taken)The police never ask for the video in the pub as they are not interested in the "lost items".Everyone is so happy to tell me that my brother walk out of the pub alone and collapsed outside the pub .No one can explain why after ordering so much drinks did my brother wants to walk out and stand outside the pub alone without his phone .My only chance of knowing who was with him that night is the video in the pub .The manager told me that only the police can ask to see but police is not interested .Heartbroken and helpless I really don't know what else to do.

Therefore I plead with anyone who was in DBLO on 2.5.07 from 11pm-2am the next day or if you know of anyone who was there please provide any information ,however small and unimportant it may seem .If any one found a nokia 5300 white and red hand phone or know of anyone who have found one please let me know too.

The coroner report will be out in 1-2months time .If he died of natural causes .Case will be closed and I will never know what happen to him in the pub.
